A Chronically Painful Blog

Now that was very embarrassing

I know my memory is a bit jaded these days. It frustrates me that some things are hard to recall. My increased BP is out of all proportion to the mystery at hand. Things like putting my wristwatch in a safe place so I can remember where it is. Once again I forgot where the safe place was. The value of the watch didn't frustrate me as much as did the black hole in my memory. We turned the house upside down...no joy.

Frustration boiled away. This afternoon my wife offered a little prayer asking God where to look. Not long after, I stared at a tissue box in the kitchen. Surely not. But it was there in a corner of the box. I still don't know when or why I did such a dumb thing. I was embarrassed to the hilt. I mean who in their right mind keeps their watch in a half full tissue box? Who indeed? I wish I could blame my meds for this.
